GO, GROW AND GLOW

When my superior told me I was being transferred to another area during my mission work, I remember how bad I felt since the area where I was then laboring was considered one of the most promising in terms of potential. "Can you please reconsider," I told our president, "your decision to transfer me when I'm doing so well in this place?"

He replied: "Grow where you are planted." As I packed my bags, the words lingered in my mind. I realized I had loved the area I was leaving because I had made it such a lovable place. If I could do it there, then I also realized, I could do it also in my next destination. It was all a matter of looking within myself.
