I also enjoy reading magazines from various industries that have articles on customer service. They can provide great ideas that can be used in any business, even if they are not normally associated with your particular industry. 

Most newspapers have business sections, and often these have articles covering new and innovative customer service suggestions. It is an area of business that is growing more important every day. As the products and services offered by businesses become more similar and prices become closer, customer service is the one thing that will set two similar businesses apart. 

To be committed to customer service, you need to accept that it is an ongoing project. You don't just get up one day and find that your level of customer service is perfect, enabling you to forget all about it. You need to develop a real interest in the subject and look everywhere for new ideas that you can use in your own business.
