ORANGE AND ONION SALAD


  • Honey dressing (below)
  • 1 thin slice Bermuda onion, separated into rings
  • 1 orange, pared, sliced and slices cut into halves
  • Lettuce leaves


1. Prepare honey dressing; pour over onion rings. 

2. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. 

3. Remove onion rings with slotted spoon. 

4. Arrange onion rings and orange pieces on lettuce leaves; spoon dressing over salad. 


HONEY DRESSING:


  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon snipped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Dash of salt


1. Shake all ingredients in tightly covered jar.
