You may feel that Outlaw are always stirring up trouble in the office. They may feel that it is their personal mission to rearrange office politics, while most of the time they do nothing but give you grief about your business practices.
1. Do invite the Outlaw to tell you which rules and policies bother her most and why.
2. Do schedule a department - wide discussion of policies and rules that may need updating or overhauling.
3. Don't neglect to stress the end results that the department needs to achieve and try to streamline all discussions and activities to meet these goals.
4. Do assign the Outlaw a position on a "Rules and Results Team," which will put her partially in charge of seeing that new rules and regulations are enforced and relevant.
5. Do award prizes to people for things such as "best suggestion" or to those whose ideas gather the most support from other employees.
